This beautiful little aquatic insect is so named for it's ability to catch trout on the Metolius.Serious fisher people from all over the world love this little cabin. (Once we had a four month guest!!). You can watch (the hatch) from the kitchen, spend a few hours on the river, then go golfing at Black Butte or hike to the Fish Hatchery down stream. Lots of hiking in the Three Sisters Wilderness. Or, go shopping in the boutique shops in nearby Sisters, (only a few miles away). Listen to the roar of the river as you barbeque outside as the sun is setting over the huge Ponderosa forest. There's a swing on the other side of the river, are you game enough to try it?
